We were tasked with creating a retreat-specific brand identity, logo, and graphic system that was celebratory, referenced local Portuguese culture, and leveraged the ConsenSys master brand.
First, we referenced Portuguese tiles to create a modular pattern that represented the company's 5 pillars. Then, we introduced the colors of country’s flag, red and yellow, and added organic shapes and brushstrokes to create a celebratory tone. Last, we created a lockup that was used with the ConsenSys’ logo. It featured a customized version of the same font and referenced the playfulness of the event and branding.
Our branding was purposefully very flexible. Once the system and its references were determined, we applied it to a multitude of surfaces and settings to successfully create a complete, branded experience throughout the facility and event.
With this work, we helped renew ConsenSys' understanding of their mission, values, and principles so that they could better connect with each other and be ready to rock 2018.
